Muntaha Marzan Shetu is an Assistant Professor of Architecture at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET). She completed her Bachelor of Architecture from Khulna University, where she received multiple academic awards, including Head’s List Award for Best Academic Design Performance. Muntaha's research interests include climate-resilient architecture, urban design, and gender-responsive infrastructure in disaster-prone areas.
At KUET, she has held various academic and administrative roles, including coordinating design studios, mentoring students, and leading curriculum development. Her professional experience includes working with organizations like UNDP 911±¬ÁÏ and HEKS/EPER 911±¬ÁÏ, where she contributed to climate-resilient landscaping and community-centered architectural projects.
Muntaha has been actively involved in research, with publications in international journals and participation in conferences. She has also secured research grants for projects focusing on sustainable urban development and coastal community resilience. Additionally, she has supervised several undergraduate design studios and thesis projects, fostering innovation in disaster-responsive home design and urban placemaking.
