Bio

Md. Jewel Rana is a passionate civil engineering professional and academic with extensive expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM), computer vision, digital twin, automation in construction, and sustainable construction. Currently pursuing an MSc in Civil Engineering at Washington State University, USA, he is focused on groundbreaking research in automated construction progress tracking and 4D simulation technologies. With a strong academic foundation, including a BSc from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), where he graduated with distinction, Jewel has served as an Assistant Professor, inspiring the next generation of engineers. His work is recognized through numerous publications in high-impact journals and awards for academic excellence. Proficient in advanced engineering tools and committed to sustainable development, Jewel continues to explore innovative solutions for automated construction and energy-efficient building practices.
