Bio

Siddika Tamanna Islam is a dedicated academic in the field of Biomedical Engineering. She completed her B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) in 2024, graduating with a CGPA of 3.96 and securing the 1^st position in her class. Currently, she is pursuing her M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from KUET, alongside her teaching responsibilities.

Born and raised in Rajshahi, Siddika completed her Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination with flying colors. She went on to complete her Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination from the renowned Rajshahi College, where she stood first in her final academic examination. She received  talent pool government scholarships in recognition of her academic excellence in both the examinations.

During her third year of undergraduate studies, Siddika worked on a project involving IoT-enabled monitoring systems, driven by her keen interest in real-world healthcare applications. Later, her undergraduate thesis research expanded to focus on the design and optimization of optical biosensors, particularly exploring different detection techniques for advanced biomedical diagnostics.

Siddika has always been passionate about mathematics, problem-solving, and writing. She earned recognitions in math olympiads, national writing contests, and in different project-based competitions. Below are some of the key events she participated in during her undergraduate years.
