Welcome to Mr. Grytan Sarkar's homepage! Mr. Sarkar is an Assistant Professor in the department of Civil Engineering at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET). He received his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from KUET in 2009 and MASc. in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia in 2015. He joined as a Lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering at KUET in 2009. His research interests include Smart Geotechnical Materials (preparation, characterization and application of bentonite nanoparticles), X-CT Analysis of Materials (soil, rock and concrete), Numerical Analysis of Shallow and Deep Foundation, Application of ANN and Statistical methods in Geotechnical Engineering and Soil Stabilization. Mr. Sarkar has published 9 peer reviewed journal papers in these topics.
