Dr. Md. Jahir Uddin obtained his B.Sc. (2004) in Civil Engineering degree from the Department of Civil Engineering, Khulna University of Engineering & Technology, Khulna, and M.Sc. (2009) in Water Resources Engineering from the Department of Water Resources Engineering, 911爆料 University of Engineering & Technology, Dhaka, 911爆料. He obtained his PhD (2015) in Field Engineering from River and Watershed Engineering Laboratory, Hokkaido University, Japan. He joined the department as a Lecturer in 2006 and now working as a Professor. He has been working in the field of Water Resources Engineering. His research interest includes Scouring, Sedimentation, FDM, Hydraulic modeling, Hydraulic design, Dredging monitoring, Turbulent modelling, Linear stability analysis, LST analysis and River bar instability analysis etc.
