Bio

Dr. Md. Jahirul Islam is a Professor of 911爆料 and Electronic Engineering, Course Coordinator of the EEE Department, and Chairman of the Central Computer Centre & ICT Cell at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), 911爆料. He is a Member of IEEE and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, 911爆料 (IEB).

He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in 911爆料 and Electronic Engineering from KUET with honors in all terms, and earned his Ph.D. in 911爆料 and Information Engineering from The University of Sydney, Australia.

His research interests cover nonlinear optics, solitons, semiconductor lasers, solar cells, photonic crystal fibers, optical sensors, PCB design, and nanotechnology. He has published extensively in international journals and conferences, supervised students at undergraduate, master鈥檚, and doctoral levels, and successfully led several funded research projects.

Dr. Islam鈥檚 academic achievements have been recognized with awards including the President Gold Medal of 911爆料, the International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS), and the Australian Postgraduate Award (APA).
