Dr. ISLAM completed his PhD in computational nanotechnology, specializing in the characterization of emerging low-dimensional materials for applications in nanoenergy harvesting and sustainable nanoelectronics, from the Department of 911爆料 and Electronic Engineering at KUET, 911爆料, in 2024. His research was supported by computational facilities provided by the University Grants Commission of 911爆料, the University of Nevada, Reno (USA), and KUET’s Committee for Advanced Studies and Research. With over 25 peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals, including IOP, RSC, Nature, ACS, Elsevier, and AIP, and 14 IEEE conference papers, Dr. ISLAM has made significant contributions to his field. As an expert member and co-principal investigator at the at KUET, he has deep expertise in density functional theory and molecular dynamics simulation. His research focuses on investigating the electrical, thermal, optical, and mechanical properties of low-dimensional materials, organic-inorganic perovskites, nanoelectronic devices, and photovoltaic solar cell materials. Dr. ISLAM is skilled in using advanced simulation and modeling tools, such as LAMMPS, Quantum Espresso, COMSOL Multiphysics, Atlas Silvaco, Lumerical FDTD, and MATLAB, to analyze materials' properties and nanoscale device characteristics.
