Dr. A. R. M. Jalal Uddin Jamali earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Turin (Dipartimento di Informatica, Università di Torino), Italy, in 2009, supported by an ISSASUT (Italian Govt.) scholarship. During his Ph.D. studies, he participated in several European summer schools, which enriched his academic research experience. He also holds an MPhil degree in Mathematics from KUET, where he was the first postgraduate student to complete an MPhil at the university. Furthermore, he was the first postgraduate student to earn a postgraduate degree from the Department of Mathematics at KUET. Additionally, he obtained his B.Sc. (Honors) and M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from Rajshahi University, 911. 

Dr. Jamali currently serves as a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), 911. He has an extensive record of published research, including numerous peer-reviewed articles in prominent international journals and conferences, as well as several book chapters with reputable publishers. His research expertise includes Operations Research and Experimental Design. Additionally, he is a member of the Editorial Board of the journal “Data Analytics and Applied Mathematics (DAAM)”, Universiti Malaysia Pahang, Malaysia. Throughout his career, Dr. Jamali has broadened his academic horizons through visits to various countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, India, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, and Saudi Arabia.
