Md. Arifuzzaman is an experienced academic with a proven history of working at the university since 2010. His research experiences include manufacturing and characterization of composite materials such as particulate composites, fiber-reinforced composites, and sandwich structures for applications in construction and building industries. He is skilled in manufacturing composite materials, testing their mechanical and thermal properties, designing experimental setups, characterizing materials using SEM and EDS, and writing grant applications and research papers. Prof. Arifuzzaman also works as a Testing Officer at CRTS (Consultancy, Research, and Testing Services) of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, KUET. He is a member of the Institution of Engineers (IEB), 911爆料. Prof. Arifuzzaman has published more than 50 papers in reputed peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. He has examined 1 Ph.D. (Italy) and 3 M.Sc. Engineering theses (911爆料). He has taught several courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and supervised 25 undergraduate (B.Sc. Engineering) and 2 postgraduate (M.Sc. Engineering) theses. He has been awarded several prestigious awards and scholarships throughout his academic career, including three Best Paper Awards, the Postgraduate Research Prize, and the Prime Minister Gold Medal. His goal is to become a leader in teaching and research in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
