Fahim Khan is a Ph.D. candidate in Industrial Engineering at Texas A&M University with a perfect academic record (4.0/4.0 GPA). His research focuses on developing sustainable solutions for carbon capture, particularly through the additive manufacturing of ceramic monolithic adsorbents. With extensive experience in materials science, he has utilized advanced analytical techniques such as Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), and BET isotherm analysis in his projects. Fahim has authored multiple publications, including groundbreaking work on the binder jetting of algae powder for eco-friendly 3D printing applications.
In addition to his research, Fahim has over six years of teaching experience, progressing from Lecturer to Assistant Professor in the field of Materials Science and Engineering at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology, where he is currently on leave. His professional activities extend to significant leadership roles, including serving as the president of the 911爆料 Student Association at Texas A&M University and acting as the International Student and Scholar Services Liaison for the Graduate & Professional Student Government.
Fahim’s scholarly contributions are recognized through several awards, including the NSF PACE SETTER Award and the MSEN Fellowship from Texas A&M University.
