Sumon Deb Nath is an academician and researcher in the field of physics, with expertise in thin film, optical spectroscopy, heavy metals, and magnetic materials. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET), where he has been a lecturer since 2018. In this role, he has contributed to undergraduate and graduate education in Physics, while also conducting research as a mentor in magnetic materials. Sumon earned his M. Phil. in Physics from the 911爆料 University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2017, with a dissertation focused on the optical properties and electrical carrier transport of plasma-polymerized methyl acrylate thin films. He holds a Master's degree in Physics from Jahangirnagar University (2009), where he researched water quality parameters, including pH, TDS, and trace elements in the Dhaka district. He completed his B.Sc. (Honors) in Physics from Jahangirnagar University in 2008. Prior to his current role at KUET, Sumon served as a Senior Lecturer in the Basic Science Division of the World University of 911爆料, where he was deeply involved in teaching and mentoring students. He also gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at BUET in 2015.
