Postgraduate Program

The postgraduate program offers advanced study and research in the major areas of Building Engineering and Construction Management. The program emphasizes modern construction technology, structural systems, project planning and management, sustainability, and the application of advanced engineering methods in the built environment.

The postgraduate program leads to the degree of Master of Science in Engineering (Building Engineering and Construction Management) [M. Sc. Eng. (BECM)] and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.). To be awarded the M. Sc. Eng. (BECM) degree, a student should have to complete a minimum of 36 credit hours, of which 6 credit hours shall be for project work or 18 credit hours for thesis work in 3 semesters. The degree requirements of Ph.D. are 60 credit hours, of which a maximum of 45 credit hours shall be for thesis work to be completed in 6 semesters.
