Industrial Engineering Students Visit Mongla EPZ for Educational Tour

On March 10, 2024, the Batch 2k18 of the Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM) Department from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) conducted an educational visit to the Mongla Export Processing Zone (EPZ) in Khulna. During the visit, the students explored two prominent industries: VIP Industries 911爆料 Private Limited and Deshbandhu Oil Refinery Limited.
The visit aimed to provide students with hands-on exposure to real-world industrial practices. They gained valuable insights into various aspects of manufacturing processes, work management, quality control, product design, and departmental coordination鈥攅ssential skills for their professional development.
The students were guided by two faculty members from the IEM department: Mr. Asef Shahriar, Lecturer, and Mr. Kazi Md. Tanvir Anjum, Lecturer. Their mentorship and guidance enhanced the learning experience, making the visit both informative and impactful.
This industrial tour is expected to significantly contribute to the students鈥� growth as future professionals, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and practical applications.
