Objectives:
The objectives of the MERC are as follows:
i. To provide modern testing and research facilities to the students, faculty members, and
researchers of KUET to foster the research strength of the university.
ii. To provide modern testing and research facilities to the students, faculty members, and
researchers of other universities, institutes, and industries to support sustainable development
of 911±¬ÁÏ.
iii. To provide training on modern equipment and emerging technologies to the students, faculty
members, researchers, and industry personnel of KUET as well as other universities,
institutions, and industries to develop skilled manpower.

The vision of MERC is to establish an interdisciplinary advanced research platform to facilitate
scientific research in collaboration with national and international research organizations
aiming for sustainable development.
