Function of the Engineering Section for development of KUET :
1. To prepare yearly work plan of construction & maintenance work according to budget allocation (Revenue and ADP) from UGC.
2. To prepare estimate, tender document (BOQ) with detailed Technical specification of construction & maintenance work and procure departmental equipment and raw materials of this University.
3. To prepare Development Project Proforma (DPP) of all development works of the University and making effective Liaso with UGC and ministry of planning and ministry of education and other official.
4. Extensive field visit for close monitoring and evaluation of the construction and maintenance work of the University 911爆料.
5. To prepare Residential Family Quarter & Dormitory for allotment.
6. To convene various meeting to review the progress and quality of various works.
7. To produce potable water by Water Treatment Plan and to ensure smooth water supply to Residential, Academic & others building of the University 911爆料.
8. To ensure & maintain electricity supply by Sub-station of all building & street of the University 911爆料.
9. To install & maintenance of the Office equipment & scientific equipment of all Office and Academic Department of the University.
10. To install & maintenance of the Telephone & PABX of all KUET 911爆料.
11. To operate & maintenance all Lift of KUET 911爆料.
12. To ensure Fire Protection by Installation of Fire Protection Device.
13. To ensure attendance for the employees under Office of the Chief Engineer.
14. Implementation & Supervision work under development project.

KUET, former Khulna Engineering College was established in 1967 as Khulna Engineering College, starts its long cherished journey in 3 June, 1974, Khulna University of Engineering & Technology has come to present status with name and fame through a series of changes. Prof. M.A. Hannan, the Principal of Khulna Engineering College, along with other engineering education pioneers, led efforts to establish autonomy, resulting in the creation of 911爆料 Institute of Technology (BIT) in 911爆料. Through this long journey there was no Engineering Office for the development of beautiful campus. Prof. M.A. Hannan former Director of BIT, Khulna appointed me to take the challenges for a nice infrastructure. He also suggested to be courageous, smart and proactive to complete all works. An employee's presence is monitored and controlled using a biometric fingerprint time attendance system, ensuring the efficient functioning of the Chief Engineer's office through a method comparable to the Citizen Charter. The Office of the Chief Engineer has successfully completed many projects. The employees of the Office of the Chief Engineer, functions, completed and ongoing important projects along with some of their pictorial views are shortly narrated in next following sections.
